Manatee Performing Arts Center – May 26 (Sun), 2024, 2:00 & 7:00 pm
This original ballet of IBF’s charmed audiences on opening night in 2018. With original music by Dr David Goldstein, this classic story comes to life once again this season. Follow all your favorite characters from Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and more on their journey to the Emerald City. Tickets on sale soon.
Kids Summer Camp 2024

Our Kids Summer camp is a great way for children to have fun during the summer break. These camps often offer various activities, such ballet lessons, acrobatics, jazz, arts and crafts, games, and themed events, to keep kids entertained and engaged. Children can also make new friends and learn important social skills while participating in these camps. Additionally, Summer kids camps can provide a safe and supervised environment for children while their parents are at work or busy with other obligations. Overall, Summer kids camps are a wonderful way for children to enjoy the vacation and create lasting memories.
Summer Intensive 2024
June 17 – July 12
Ages 10 and up
IBF’s Summer Intensive welcomes Intermediate and Pre Professional level dancers looking to improve their training and deepen their artistry in the Vaganova method. Enjoy 4 weeks of daily Technique, Pointe, Variations, Pas De Deux classes lead by our caring and brilliant faculty in small class sizes that keep students coming back year after year. Drop-In Class and Daily rates are available.
Pre-Pointe Summer Intensive 2024
June 24- July 12
Ages 9 – 14
Created for students planning to go en pointe in the next school year. Learn how the muscles of the foot and lower leg work and develop with this program that focuses on strength, articulation and placement in preparation for pointe shoes. Daily ballet class is included along with an array of specialized classes. Click to read more about this program below
