This class offers our youngest dancers their first ballet experience; ballet movements combined with development of coordination and music.

At this age, our dancers start to concentrate on their stretching, basic ballet positions, and movements across the floor while working in a group.

Besides increasing the knowledge of dance movement, this level focuses on discipline, concentration, musicality, stretching and skipping.

Level 3 (ages 7-8 years)

Students at this level are expected to become more disciplined and respond appropriately to the instructor’s corrections. This includes proper placement of the legs, hips, arms, and head. Dancers will increase their strength by taking Jazz and Lyrical classes.

Level 4 (ages 8-10 years)

At this level the dancer prepares for the study of Classical Ballet by starting to learn the fundamentals of the Vaganova Method. Dancers are introduced to turns and jumps. Repertoire, Jazz and Lyrical classes are included at this level as well.

Level 5 (ages 10 and up)

Students will continue to advance their technique, focusing on “clean” positions, stronger footwork leading up to pointe, higher jumps and pirouettes. Training includes classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Repertoire and Pre-Pointe.

Level 6

This is the intermediate level of the Vaganova Method where the students are expected to have a strong grasp of classical technique. Training includes classes in Pointe, Character, Repertoire and Contemporary are also part of this curriculum.

Level 7

Level 8

This Pre-Professional Level is for dancers who aspire to become professional and/or wish to refine their technique and artistry. Repertoire, Character, Contemporary, and Pointe Classes are part of this training.

Adult Ballet

Welcoming all men and women who love to dance. Our beloved open level adult ballet has no age limit and continue year round. Basic ballet terminology and knowledge is required for this class.
